About Me

I qualified teaching Yoga with The British Wheel in 1993, I am also qualified in Aromatherapy, Massage, and Indian Head Massage. I teach 3 Yoga classes a week and also give one to one classes. My work varies as I can be asked to do short courses for different agencies. I deliver 2 workshops a year locally called Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice. I am also working in Ireland doing special weekend workshops. Ireland have been particularly supportive of all my books.
I am happy to travel to do workshops as long as it is within reasonable travelling distance.

Although I still love Yoga postures I feel as I get older I am drawing nearer to the Pranayama and Meditation side.My books have been a labour of love, what started out as a single book Thirty Paths To Stillness turned into a companion set of 4 with a C.d as well. The majority of the pictures have been taken out and about in the North East.

I am extremely grateful to all the Yoga teachers, tutors and students who have bought these books and wrote to me personally as they gave me the impetus to continue with the set.

I know that when newly qualified teachers begin with classes, it is sometimes difficult to find the correct material, these meditations have been tried and tested on my own students so I know the timing is correct. The small 5 minute relaxations I use as fillers between postures, and the meditating on Aum can be done lying down, simple hints to help your class run smooth and at the same time professional. The books are clear, simple and very easily transfer to the class situation, These are not just meditation books they are the teachers working toolbox, I hope you find them as useful as I do and enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed writing them.

I am extremely grateful for the people who had faith in me from the beginning and started stocking my books. I have just completed a set of visualisation cards this may form part of a new book. The seven visualisations have a Christmas theme. I also have a new reprint of all my books. The standard of the new print is excellent, it is sharp, clear and fresh, printing has come a long way in 10 years, so now I have a brand new set for the future. If you have a group of students and wish to buy more than 10 books or a group of you get together and buy, please ask me for discount, this also reduces postage.
